中国是全球最大的原铝生产国，占据全球近60%的市场份额，而碳排放总量也保持在相当水平。据中国有色金属工业协会统计，我国有色工业排放二氧化碳约6.6亿吨。其中，铝工业排放量达5.5亿吨，占有色金属行业总排放量的83.3%，约占全国总排放量（2019年全国排放量约为110亿吨）的5%左右。 2022）。因此，铝相关企业必须主动管理碳足迹，采取环保措施，支持中国实现双碳战略目标。

2024第二届中国绿色铝峰会将继续聚焦“双碳”背景下的铝可持续发展时代，结合企业最佳实践/洞察，围绕中国绿色铝趋势、净零实现路径、短、中、长期脱碳解决方案（铝回收、惰性阳极、CCUS）、绿色能源等话题会议将围绕铝产业转型、铝全生命周期减碳建议、铝上下游低碳引导、CBAM等进行探讨，旨在为铝相关企业可持续发展、推动绿色发展提供参考。
