Weeding Out The Stoned began in Philadelphia for Five Dollar Comedy Week in 2015. Since then Weeding Out The Stoned has been selected to be in the New York Comedy Festival, The Highlarious Comedy Festival and WOOtenany. It has sold out shows in a dozen states at venues including Helium Comedy Club, WFMU’s Montgomery Hall and Asylum NYC. Host and creator Alex Grubard has appeared on mtvU and his debut stand-up album “Let Me Teach You How To Distill Gin” was released in 2021.
