For the second consecutive year, a team of community-based organizations and community members come together to create the Elmont Juneteenth
Last year, hundreds were in attendance for our first celebration as we demonstrated the significance of this historical celebration in the African-American community through Black owned vendors, food trucks, live perfomances of Djembe drums, line dancing and DJ sets from celebrity DJs with Cardi B’s and Hot97’s DJ Sparkx as the lead DJ .
Due to the efforts of this festival and the community’s support. This year we will continue to create a multi-arts experience that recognizes and celebrates the rich heritage of Juneteenth.
The Elmont Juneteenth Festival incorporates activities for community members of all ages to create additional educational experiences.
We anticipate a well-attended event and invite you to be a part of this unique celebration of heritage, music, art and community.

-Enjoy food and drinks by local food trucks and restaurants
-Enjoy DJ sets with our lead DJ, DJ Sparkx of Hot97
-Enjoy live performances by Warren Wint, Rah Hoolian, Perfection Dance Company, Djembe drummers, the Elmont Community Choir and spoken word artist
-Get your hands on some free giveaways provided by The New York Jets, Sesame Street/Sesame Workshop and Health First
-Get some pics at our photo booth
-See our art show provided by local students
-Play games and network
-Give back to the community by supporting four organizations doing amazing work
